Celtics Alumni Association: The Search is On!

It's only December 12, but the Celtics management has already begun meetings to prepare for the upcoming season including conversation regarding the importance of the teams ongoing community involvement. Unanimously, the management has agreed to participate in the formation of a brand new Cornwall Celtics Alumni Association, and with that; the search to fill the presidential role has begun.

"It is important to us to continue to strengthen our link with both our minors and our alumni." stated Vicki Akins, the teams returning general manager, who will share the duties with Rad Joseph in 2017.

"In forming an alumni association, we felt we could continue to connect with those players who have served in Celtic green through minor or junior, or both." urged Akins. "It's important that our alumni know how much they mean to our organization, we felt this was a great way to begin showing those sentiments."

Akins reported that they will look to immediately fill a Presidential role, urging that they would like to offer this position to an alumni who has shown the characteristics of what it means to be a Celtic. The role is not a paying role, though honorariams and perks are being mulled.

"A person that has strengths with planning small events before games, small events post-game, on-floor celebrations and has strong interpersonal skills in dealing with our sponsors is exactly what we're looking for - it is a great title for a resume, age is not necessarily a deal breaker."

The team is not putting in place any formal application process but is interested in corresponding with anyone that may be interested.
